2022 Arts Multilingual Week

Arts Multilingual Week (October 31st to November 4th) is organized in collaboration with over a dozen units across campus. The week’s events will feature students, scholars, and community members reflecting on multilingualism as a practice, discussing career opportunities for multilingual graduates, and performing multilingualism through artistic means.

The Korean Language program will be part of the Language Tables and Activities. Here you will be able to check out language course offerings at UBC, play games at different language tables, and try unique outfits for different cultures (including Hanbok!) and pose for Halloween pictures! Light snacks will also be provided!

Time: Monday, October 31st, 1-3pm

If you are interested in poetry, join us on Multilingual ​Poetry Slam. It will feature a combination of languages, drawing from the multilingualism of the UBC student body as well as the many languages taught on campus. Please check out the video for some poetry readings by previous KORN 200 student!

Time: Friday, November 4th, 3:30-5pm
